We are sharing the Gospel in Thailand with our many friends while working with, getting to know, and nurturing our small ecclesial family there. We are continuing with Learning Centre programming and teach not only the Bible, but also English as a Second Language, Basic Computing, and for our students who often are from underprivileged, village lifestyles, we do sessions on how to navigate life – e.g. relationships, the workplace, and their social environment. The subjects we teach are determined by the students’ needs and fieldworker skills and availability.
Our workplace is now a large home in Chiang Mai not far from our Sis Ang in which we can accommodate fieldworkers and a small number of students. When we are able, we also make arrangements with our friends and take our programs to other places, for example, to Mae Sot to the south, and to Mae Hong Son Province, west of Chiang Mai.
