The flood waters are now subsiding but there are whole communities without food and water and the local authorities are unable to provide for everyone. Our brothers and sisters are all safe and we have provided support to those who need it.
Torrential rain during April has led to landslides and the worst flooding in 50 years, with the capital Dili being badly impacted.
The virtual study weekend in the Philippines was successfully held last October 30 to November 1, 2020. The event focused on the themes of first letters of Paul to Timothy. It was attended mostly by our young brethren and sisters nationwide and few brethren from overseas.

In the past year ecclesias in Kathmandu, have been able to continue to have fellowship within the guidelines of the Covid lockdowns and restrictions. Usually this has been in small groups and otherwise via the internet, using apps like zoom
While no fieldworkers have been able to visit Timor Leste during 2020, we are very thankful that the country has experienced little effect from the corona virus.
