The brothers and sisters in East Timor have recently enjoyed a visit from Brother David and Sister Taneke from Indonesia. It’s good to see connections being established between brothers and areas and sisters in different countries, especially those who share similar cultures and languages.
Finishing touches at the Mayantok hall – Senior Sunday School students recently spent some time painting the words of 1 Corinthians 10 v 31 in the local Illocano language on the wall of the hall in Mayantok. Illocano is one of approximately 120 languages spoken in the Philippines.

Earlier in 2024 a student led uprising resulted in the outlawing of anybody associated with the government that had been in power for over a decade.
