April eNews – Cambodia

We were once again able to host our annual Bible School in December 2025. This was an incredibly special time for brothers and sisters across Cambodia. This event provides a valuable opportunity for those, including many who live in isolation, to come together in fellowship, deepen their understanding of God’s Word, and strengthen their relationships within the ecclesia. This year, we were excited to welcome 104 attendees, including visitors from Australia, India, and New Zealand. We owe thanks to the Williamsburg Christadelphian Foundation (WCF) for assisting with financial support.

We were blessed with two great speakers, Jamin Ryan and Malcom Scott, who led inspiring and thoughtful studies on the life and faith of Abraham, as well as the teachings found in the book of Philippians. While the adults engaged in these sessions, the children enjoyed Sunday School classes, where they learned about Abraham, and the fruit of the Spirit. At the end of the week, they presented what they had learned through a play and the singing of songs.

Each evening, we gathered for special sessions designed to involve everyone. One evening focused on preaching efforts around the world, highlighting places such as Sri Lanka, India, and Pakistan. A particularly meaningful night was New Year’s Eve, where we spent time meditating on God’s Word, singing praises, and joining together in prayer as we thanked God for the past year and sought His guidance for the year ahead.

We also enjoyed a beautiful praise and worship evening, where brothers and sisters sang in their own languages, offering a glimpse of the unity of all nations in Christ.

Another highlight was witnessing the baptism of a new sister Melika, who had been studying the Bible for a few years before publicly confessing her faith.

God willing, the next Bible School will be held from 27 December 2026 to 1 January 2027. Please keep this work in your prayers. For further details, please contact cambodia@acbm.org,au.
