Pakistan
ACBM work in Pakistan began in 2003 and we have moved from 9 brothers and sisters to close to 1800 in 70 Ecclesias. The work is organised in two regions. The work in the Southern Region includes the provinces of Sindh, Baluchistan, and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa [formerly NWF]), and continues to be centred in the city of Karachi, but with small ecclesias also in some other parts of Sindh, Quetta, Peshawar and Islamabad. The work in the Punjab (Northern) Region includes the populous cities of Lahore, Sahiwal, Multan, Faisalabad and many regional areas.
With open public preaching not permitted, the focus is on F & F (Family and Friends) Preaching – which may be called “Andrew and Philip Preaching”; Andrew brought his brother Peter to Christ, and Philip his friend Nathaniel. Because of this, Covid lockdowns and meeting restrictions have had little impact on personal preaching and resultant baptisms.

Gathered in an Ecclesial Hall in Karachi The local ecclesias are active in outreach work among family and friends and this continues to bear much fruit. There are systematic teaching programmes in most ecclesias and many new areas which has led to the formation of many new ecclesias during this year. Many brothers and sisters have been impacted by the Covid pandemic, and help with rent and food supplies has been necessary, with a monthly minimum food supplement pack costing about $30 per family. The building of small ecclesial halls has been able to continue during the Covid troubles. Iqbal Nagar Ecclesial Hall is one of our latest halls
