Sunday School Prize Givings
In the Philippines the school year ends in April and the summer vacation begins. Likewise, Sunday Schools in the Philippines follow the same pattern. April leading into May has been a very busy time for Sunday School teachers and students preparing plays and presentations based on the lessons they have learned. They all receive a small gift to encourage them to continue their learning from the Bible.
There are 30 Sunday Schools in the Philippines with about 800 students in total, with some Ecclesias conducting several Schools. Baguio Ecclesia, located in central Luzon (main northern island of the Philippines) and more than 1,400 metres above sea level, recently conducted their prize giving outside of their rented hall. Two Sunday Schools combined with a total of 25 students. Six young brothers and sisters are the dedicated teachers for these students.

Preaching Camps
A few ecclesias are taking the opportunity to conduct preaching camps in their area. Bangui Ecclesia, a small, isolated ecclesia located in the far north of Luzon, recently conducted their camp with the topic: “Thy Kingdom Come”. 4 to 8 interested friends attended each session. About 10 brothers and sisters came to assist from Isabela Ecclesia, the nearest ecclesia 8 hours away. Their presence greatly encouraged the Bangui brothers and sisters.
Two other ecclesias will conduct preaching camps during May. Members of Kilikili Ecclesia, located in Mindanao (the Philippines main southern island), have each been given the challenge to bring one or two friends along. Isabela Ecclesia, located in northeastern Luzon, will hold their camp at their hall with the theme: “One Lord, One Faith and One Baptism”. They will bring contacts from the surrounding areas where preaching is regularly done.
